    Character property in a great location

    It’s character, it was a lovely place to spend a week. Comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen and bathroom. Lots of lovely touches which made it special. The parking space outside was great and it was easy to walk to Ambleside.

    It was really well equipped although we would have liked a colander.

    Great location, bus stops just outside, off road parking, all our needs catered for inthe cottage ie home from home, very cosy and homely and access to garden beside the river. Nothing to dislike and would definitely return.

    Lovely little hideout :)

    The location was great for walking Into Ambleside and Waterhead. There was enough parking for one car outside. And across the road there is a little garden where you can take your dogs and have picnics by the river. The place is really clean and comfortable, the nook is cosy, though be careful on the stairs as they are narrow.
