    Great location for the West Lakes

    Hot tub and location was great for visiting Eskdale valley and paddleboarding on Wastwater.

    £50 charge for our dog. Not the property's fault but it is not clear on initial booking. Initial booking says pet allowed. Further into the booking details under "important details" is the £50 charge. Bit of a surprise when we had already paid £700 for 2 nights. Bring ALL basics. We needed salt, pepper, and oil for cooking as there were none in the shop or house.

    Great hot tub after a days walking, loved the friendly welcome from the host and the farm tour. Liked the big comfortable bed and roomy shower.

    We had an issue with the TV remote not working. Couldn't see the hills from the house.
