The Old Ferryhouse - auf hoffentlich bald!
Was für eine Unterkunft! The Old Ferryhouse liegt direkt an einem Loch - das allerdings mit dem Meer verbunden ist (und somit Ebbe und Flut unterliegt). Die Aussicht aus Wohnzimmer und Küche sind atemberaubend. Und das bei schönem und bei schottischem Wetter! Die Landschaft allgemein ist wunderschön und jederzeit eine (An-)Reise wert. Die Kommunikation mit unserem Gastgeber war sehr einfach und äusserst freundlich. So fühlten wir uns immer zu Hause und willkommen. Die Unterkunft ist grosszügig und mit allen wichtigen Dingen ausgestattet. Wir hoffen sehr, bald wieder im Old Ferryhouse zu Hause zu sein.
Durch die etwas abgeschiedene Lage, gibt es hier nicht alle paar Meter ein anderes Restaurant. Wir konnten uns sehr gut selber versorgen - der Dorfladen ist unglaublich. Aber v.a. am Wochenende empfiehlt es sich, in einem Restaurant in der Nähe zu reservieren, falls man nicht selber kochen möchte.

Spectacular scenery and rustic charm and a great base for cyclists (e-bikes recommended!)
The most spectacular view from the sunroom over Loch Linhe and the peace and quiet. Everything you need for a very comfortable stay is in the cottage.

Beautiful view in a peaceful location, excellent for watching wildlife.
Stunning view from the sunroom across the loch. We watched seals and a variety of birds. Spacious accommodation. Very well provisioned. Close to a well stocked village shop and a hotel with restaurant and bar. Walking distance to the Lismore Ferry.
It was all good.

Seele baumeln lassen!
Perfekt ausgestattet. Authentisches Interieur und erstklassig funktionierender Kamin. Heizung trotzdem in jedem Zimmer. Herrlicher Blick aufs Meer, bei schönem Wetter direkt vom Vorgarten aus. Guter Ausgangspunkt für lokale Wanderungen und die Stadt Oban liegt nah. Vermieter Doug ist via WhatsApp immer erreichbar. Dorfladen zwei Minuten zu Fuß. Einfach traumhaft!
Konnte nichts schlechtes finden.
