    Highly recommended.

    Location was excellent. Very convenient for my friends walking the wall and Brampton is charming.

    The location was excellent and the owner very friendly and accommodating/helpful. Having 2 en suite rooms was perfect for us. Walkable amenities that we needed were a shop for breakfasts, a pub for 'refreshment' and food - even a Chinese takeaway for the last night. I honestly cannot fault it..

    There was really nothing that can be found with the property to fault it - if back in the area we would definitely go back!

    Outstanding!

    What a stunning place! We chose The Old Gables as a stop on our Hadrian's Wall hike and we were instantly upset that we could only stay for a night. The place is gorgeous, has everything you need and more, it's so spacious and conveniently located within beautiful Brampton. The host Dianne was very friendly and helpful and gave us tips about public transport back to the Hadrian's Wall path to resume our journey. We can't recommend The Old Gables and Dianne enough.
