Lovely short break. Great dog walks around the fields and local roads and very central for visiting places of interest.
Property was spotless and well situated for dog walks and visits to places of interest. Eppleby is a lovely village.
No negatives other than I would question the £5 a night for extra cleaning for our dog. The house will be cleaned once at the end of the stay so why the extra. A small point, but the property itself is lovely. Well furnished, good internet and Russell was extremely helpful with local information. Would definitely book again in the future.

We had a lovely stay for 3 days and if you are taking a dog it is well located for that too
The property was clean and well equipped for our needs. The location was excellent right on the village green all in all great. Russell was a very friendly host and was at hand if we needed anything

Perfectly relaxing time at a very clean and hospitable cottage, surrounded by the best of lush Yorkshire.
Perfect, light, calming. Village is beautiful and not far from anywhere. Spa facilities were made use of and added to our perfect relaxing family holiday. Host was very helpful, digging out bbq for us, and giving us local knowledge of things to do and see.
No previous paperwork to say we couldn’t leave our dog alone, which meant we had to change some plans to accommodate the dog. Usually on breaks we tire him out and he sleeps while we’re out, never for long. A small thing, and it didn’t impact hugely on our lovely time, but would have been a consideration when booking.

Cosy, comfortable and clean. Fabulous location 👌
Location was exceptional. Very peaceful village with a great pub and little shop right on your doorstep. No traffic noise...bliss! The accommodation was very nice and comfortable with everything you need.
Grasping at straws here, because it was lovely - towels were a bit small. That's all I can think of...overall 10/10
