Very pretty house right in the middle of Coniston. Everything within walking distance. Lovely hot tub. Plenty of space.

Unfortunately, the tv wasn't working. Apparently it was an ongoing issue. I know we were on holiday and tv shouldn't matter, but the World Cup was on that week. I went with my husband and son, who hoped to watch some matches. They did go to the pub to watch England play but we had our dog with us and couldn't leave him so I didnt go. We were told that an engineer would be out to fix it. They did arrive on the last day. I just wish they had let us know sooner about the tv. It was advertised as sat TV but wasn't working. They knew it hadn't been working long before we arrived. Also we were sitting down one evening and there was a constant beeping like an alarm. With no tv that was all we could hear! I informed the office the next morning they sent someone round who said it was the ceiling alarms and they would contact the engineer. It turned out not to be the case. It was an alarm on the wall, which batteries were running low. They got replaced but that evening the adjoining property to us which was a holiday let but empty, their alarm started beeping.!!! I informed the office but it was still beeping when we left.
