A warm welcome to a very relaxing place to stay.
A very warm welcome awaits you in the Old Rectory. It was very calm and I am sure it would be a great centre if you wanted to spend a few days explore this part of Wales. The room was clean and well cared for. Breakfast was very fresh with some of the best sausages I've had anywhere. Parking was easy and there are good places to eat nearby. A home cooked meal is available at some points in the year--I would expect it to be very good, if breakfast is anything to go by.
No downsides.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming — a special thank you to Catherine for making us feel so welcome. The location is fantastic: peaceful, quiet, and beautiful, while also providing easy access to explore different places. As for cleanliness, it was absolutely spotless. I genuinely cannot praise it enough — everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained.
One small thing to mention is that the TV is an older model. Although it does have YouTube available, we found that it wasn’t always able to run it smoothly - it would occasionally freeze and need to be restarted, or switch back to the regular cable channels by itself. It wasn’t a major issue for us, but perhaps something worth considering for a future update.
