ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE
Absolutely unacceptable experience. I booked this hotel in good faith while traveling a long distance and needing a place to rest overnight. I arrived just after midnight, only to be told by the manager that I couldn’t check in because of an obscure 8 PM check-in deadline — something hidden in tiny print at the bottom of the third reservation email. There was no clear warning during booking and no flexibility. I was left with no other option but to sleep in my van. This is not how you treat paying guests. Avoid this place unless you enjoy being stranded and treated with zero understanding or basic hospitality.

Okay
There is no bar or restaurant as advertised, the property is up for sale and looks sorry for itself now. Could not connect to WiFi even though it says it had, so could not carry out my work. Rooms smell stale but it was clean I will give them that, not an enjoyable stay.

Basic but great. No food in the evening and very very basic self service diy breakfast. Dinner best at nearby Radisson. Breakfast on the road.

Comfy stay
This was just an overnight stop, but I would recommend the hotel highly. The room and bathroom were excellent and the bed was very comfortable. The self service buffet breakfast was very generous Such a shame that the owners can’t operate the bar/restaurant anymore due to energy costs.
