Such a cosy space especially by the log burner! Comfy bedrooms, perfect for a countryside weekend getaway.

Made very welcome at the old stable

Everything really, from the gentleman meeting us when we arrived and straight away showing my 2 young boys the tractors and the cows and the ducks and the really friendly dogs and cat. The accomadation was great with everything you needed for a couple of nights, it felt very homely. It says it all my 2 boys asked when can we come back.

If i had 1 little problem and it is little was the radiators work off the log burner, so i would imagine it can be quite cool over the winter months, but it also might be really cosy, because it was warm the 2 days i was there never got to find out

Quiet location, ideal for two people.

Whilst no breakfast was supplied- nor expected - there was coffee, sugar, tea bags, and snacks provided, and fresh milk in the fridge. Thank you. By the sink, there was liquid hand soap, also in the bathroom, with separate soap and hand cream. In the kitchen, a box with dog bowls, and treats, plus hand sanitizer, a thoughtful touch. I welcomed the folder with introductory letter from the hosts, and and information about the history of the farm. Also leaflets showing places of interest in the locality. Furnished outdoor patio very comfortable and a positive suntrap. The quiet surroundings offered a restful stay. I meet up with a friend every year, for a few days catch up, and the accommodation didn't disappoint.

The hand rail for the stairs was a bit close in places, to the wall, and made a bit difficult to hold going downstairs. - just hold the banisters instead. Having taken some DVDs it was a bit difficult to fathom out the method of operating both bits of equipment, picture quality not so good. An operation leaflet - or hand written advise would have been useful.

Entertainment on your doorstep with ducks waddling around, dogs to fuss and old cars and tractors. Great location and lovely pub walking distance away.
