    Extremely close to conference centre

    I was disappointed to find that no tables were available for dinner, and this had not been mentioned when I checked in. The bar seating was very restricted, and overall the meal was just okay rather than impressive

    New lobby and bar very smart. Room clean, good towels, good sheets. Well situated. Excellent breakfast, multi choice, including black pudding! Service good.

    Cost cutting, as University in financial trouble. No biscuits , had to ask for coffee machine, no bathrobes any more in executive room. Aircon stuck on 21deg
