As we live in the tropics (Darwin), we did find the cold weather uncomfortable. Despite that, we enjoyed exploring Russe
Nice setting. Comfortable studio. Bridget and John were very kind and helpful - beyond expectations
Initially, there was no hotplate for cooking, but Bridget purchased a double burner, which made cooking easier.

Great place in local community
Very comfortable room with terrasse in quiet neighbourhood Kettle and fridge very handy Lovely hosts, Bridget is very welcoming and advised on nice walks to spot kiwis, even supplied red lights Beach 2 min walk and Russel village 3 min drive

Comfy Stay in Russell
Very helpful and obliging host - not always easy finding somewhere that will take a dog that is also clean and comfortable !
The room did have quite a musty smell but we assumed it had perhaps not been used much through the winter.
