    Breakfast was great although we didn't go for the cooked breakfast as we can't manage this. Porridge was lovely, no salt. Packed lunch was very good value for money.

    A warm welcome from friendly,helpful staff in a comfortable hotel with menus varied+prepared well.

    We chose the destination as a hub for a cycling break and bicycle was our main means of travel from Dundee to which we variously travelled by train or bus. On booking, I had felt that the hotel was quite expensive but the standard exceeded my expectations with warm, comfortable rooms, excellent food with plenty vegetables, perfectly cooked, with the meat and fish dishes. Above all, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Full marks here.

    More fibre for breakfast, maybe loose muesli, prepared fresh fruit and unsweetened natural yoghurt.
