    Long Weekend Near Warrington

    Reception was excellent. Room convenient on ground floor. Easy access with a slope by the entrance. Staff member opened the bedroom window. Receptionist told us how to turn the fan off. Waiter moved us away from a noisy group at dinner. Had 2 nice pots of tea.

    Breakfast- long wait to be seated on Friday and Saturday. Cold plates. Hot drinks from a machine. No tomato juice. Food seemed to have been sitting on the buffet a long time. Lunch - Cheese sandwich perfectly alright, so why add awful tomato salsa and tortilla chip things that tasted like cardboard.? Bathroom basin cracked. Couldn't reach the grab handles over the bath so couldn't have a bath. Rickety wardrobe with noisy doors. Location not handy unless you have a car. Didn't feel like 4 stars

    Comfortable with good staff, but let down by quality of food

    Convenience of hotel for a training course I was on.

    Food was generally below a good standard, Breakfasts tended to be dry, overcooked and cold eggs served at opening time of 6:30. Lunch, served as part of a meeting booking, again dry and no flavour Coffee from machines was like drinking hot water - no flavour
