    Mixed as you’re going through a renovation and a hotel conversion.

    The new room for the Hampton Inn. AC really cold. Location to the Dome football stadium. Safe area to walk at night.

    On arrival a couple tried to check in but the interaction became escalated and could have been handled better. I went down to breakfast at 8 and the hot food was empty, fridge area had an orange juice pitcher spill over the counter and floor. Waffle batter empty, poor other selections. Floor was sticky not just where the spill happened, floor felt dirty. I went out to get a coffee near the elevators and saw my desk clerk who checked me in the previous afternoon coming out with a mop bucket and I said to him, “ you do it all”. I understand your low staffing levels but since you advertise free breakfast you should make that experience meet the expectations of well traveled guests. Hyatt Place does it best, well staffed and good selections. Not a lot of food options close by, walked to the Pub about a half mile away. Found the taco bar behind the hotel.
