Disappointing, but a coat of paint and a better attitude from the manager would go a long way to making guests feel welc
The views were amazing, very close to the beach.
1. Arrived 1530, check in is till 1600. No one at the hotel, phone numbers go to an out of hours answering service that advised to call back during business hours. 2. Dead cockroaches in the kitchenette area. Another cockroach located on bathroom floor and poo stains in the toilet. 3. Manager seemed to be more concerned about the possibility of photos being taken (likely with the $1000 MINIMUM up to $3500 shooting fee, conveniently not advertised in booking.com) than anything else. Asked 4 times in 2 days if there was photos being taken. Asked for extra glasses to drink champagne as the bride was getting ready and response was “why is that for a photo shoot?”… no just for a bride and her bridesmaids to have a glass of bubbles in the room they paid for. 4. Parking is none existent. We had to park elsewhere at another property and uber to our hotel… 5. We had asked months in advance could our hire car could pull up for the collection of bride and was told that they could move the dumpster located on the street out of the way to take photos. When checking in was told this would not be happening and that car would just have to find a spot elsewhere. To the point another person offered to move the bins to allow a wedding car to pull in for collection of the bride (10 minutes max) so the wedding party didn’t need to move a dump bin. If booking for a wedding party to get ready, would not recommend at all as the managers attitude made us all feel very uncomfortable on what should be a special event. 6. The property could benefit from some basic maintenance, rusty balcony railings, peeing paint outside and the gates slamming off their anchor point.

Nice place, wouldnt stay again.
Great location, funky decor.
Every time I showered the bathroom flooded and leaked into the main room area so I had to use all available towels to mop it up and just decided not to have another shower on my last day. It was also super noisy and I couldn’t sleep even with top grade earplugs. The soundproofing was non existent- people were having a conversation outside and I could hear every single word- worse than camping. There was a constant banging coming from the roof (may have been because it was windy) which never stopped and earplugs didn’t help with the vibrations.
