Good apartment, but challenging neighborhood
The apartment is spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The host was very helpful and responded quickly to all our questions. We really appreciated the extra amenities, such as the foosball table. The location is great – just a few minutes’ walk from the main train station. The price is fair for what you get.
The neighborhood is very noisy and unfortunately quite dirty, even for Naples. There are often small groups of people and a few homeless individuals on mattresses near the entrance – nothing bad happened, but it doesn’t feel completely safe, especially after dark. The kitchen lacks a dishwasher, and in the bathroom there is only a rain shower without a handheld shower head, which makes it inconvenient for washing children’s hair.

Big spacious apartment near the train station
A nice big apartment close to the train station. I stayed there with my husband, Mom, a family friend and our 1.5-year-old, who really loved all the toys in the apartment. He was also able to run up and down the long hallway. The host, Vito, was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy, and the AC and showers worked great.
The neighbourhood felt a little dirty, but the apartment itself is nice and clean. The broken glass screen on the main gate is a bit concerning, as it gave the impression that someone had tried to break in before, although I hope it might just be from other residents trying to get access when they forgot their keys.
