A hidden gem which once discovered will remain a favourite.
We chose this one deliberately as a destination and experience site. It’s a 120 + year old hotel with its own theatre. The town is delightfully quirky and not ruined by over tourism. The beds were so comfy and proper feather pillows. If you love country settings designed with a strong nod to art deco this is the place for you. If you need a rest from fast life it’s here. Owners are really lovely. Breakfast was great. I could spend a week here. The whole area surrounding is picture perfect for slow walks. I could see weddings, functions, family holidays. A place where you could book out the whole place. 8 bedrooms and brand new bathrooms. Parking no problem This one is a gem.
I’m good with stairs but I can see where this could be a problem but they are very wide stairs with balustrade and easy to navigate.

Pity there is no kitchen but understandable considering the size of Barraba. Bowling club has a good Chinese
