    Just a goood old fashioned pub stop over with good food and excellent staff

    Just of the motorway, quiet, nice room, excellent reception and staff We called in late and staff were able to prepare a late meal despite kitchen just closing before we arrived.

    A thoroughly enjoyable overnight stay, with good food in a lovely setting.

    The cottage was lovely, and the staff were friendly, relaxed and attentive. Our evening meal was delicious and very generous in size. Our large dog was welcomed in, and the whole experience felt more like a visit with friends.

    Nothing, really. The owner made us a home cooked full English breakfast and the other visitors were lovely. There was loads of covered outdoor seating and the village is picture perfect.
