    Great pub / restaurant in good location .Good choices of beers and wines and lovely staff.

    All very good. Great location. Staff were very good and very helpful. My wife has coeliac disease and requires gluten free food. We spoke with Elle prior to booking and she was very helpful and understanding and Craig (chef) when we arrived and he was very helpful also about my wife’s food requirements. The evening meal was everything we needed and cooked excellent and good portions. Excellent service by all. Thank you. The bedroom was perfect for us for a one night stay and had everything we needed. The breakfast is continental. The choices were really very good. Great for my wife some really good choices. Bread, cereals, fresh fruit, coffee, tea, orange juice.and plenty of it all. Set us up for our day. All self service but in a lovely set out kitchen. Great pub / restaurant and had some good choices of beers and wines and lovely staff. Thank you!

    A nice place with helpful staff.

    The bed was large and very comfortable, though it took up most of the space in a smallish room. The shower was excellent. There was little noise from the pub, and access near to the car park was convenient. We enjoyed the help yourself continental breakfast, and appreciated access to the shared kitchen area to make drinks. Service was very friendly. We booked at very short notice, just a couple of hours before arriving, and appreciated the prompt call asking if we wanted the room made up as a double or twin. The staff who checked us in and served in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. A very pleasant short notice stopover.

    Lighting in the room wasn’t very bright, not great for reading.
