Disappointing.
This is a stunning property which has been renovated to a very high standard and is in a rural location close to the M5 motorway. The lighting options within the property are excellent.
This property is badly let down by small and not-so-small issues. After a long journey, I went to make a cup of tea. The cup was as in the image - and no, I did not look for the worst example (bowls were the same - see image). Reaching for a coaster on the coffee table it was covered in tea stains and had to be cleaned. This cleanliness issue subsequently became evident throughout the property, most notably the toilet brush holder in the main bathroom, which was encrusted (see image) and covered in dust and cobwebs. In addition, some glasses were so stained they had to be cleaned before use. Main bedroom - the bed is extremely low, and the pillow and coverings were very poorly presented (see image). Danger - very small gap between the end of the bed and the wall with a TV on it (see image). My wife, who has a mobility issue, found it very, very difficult to get off the bed. Then, on the first evening, while trying to traverse the gap mentioned, on the way to the toilet, and trying to avoid hitting her on the protruding TV, she hit the leg of the bed with her foot, injuring her toe. Having been involved in the hospitality sector I am conscious of the importance of first impressions - and on this occasion they fell well below expectations. I will say nothing of the lack of milk, biscuits, or any other welcome additions that are now common in many such properties. I am not expecting the bottle of wine, selection of biscuits, individual coffee sachets and tea plus more, which we were delighted to find on entering the property we had spent a few days at before arriving here. There was tea and coffee in jars here - but the coffee I certainly would not use, as there were large hardened lumps of coffee within it. It did not look very appealing for sure. The constant drone of distant motorway traffic can be heard the property, both inside and outside. It is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Great location, easy parking for the two cars. Comfortable and pretty much everything we needed was to hand. We didnt need any help whilst visiting and so the entire trip was private and uninterrupted.
It was lovely to have the front doors open as the living area warmed up, but I had planned to return with my dog amd that wouldn't have been possible as there was nothing to keep him secure. If it wasnt for that we would be back with the pooch in tow.

Comfortable stay in lovely surroundings
Perfect location for us. Lovely outlook, place clean and tidy. We had an initial problem with walk in shower but it was sorted immediately with no further problems. Replies to queries were prompt and courteous. Very impressed
Can't think of anything
