Perfect for relaxation away from busy work life.

Isolated but very close to town/activities and lake leatherwood.

    The view was really nice

We stayed in the Presidential Barndominium. It was so dirty Layers of dust were everywhere. My wife had to clean it. Even the remote controls had dust on them. This wasn't just a little, this was a thick layer. The beds were even dusty. I mentioned that I had to dust everything to the owner and received the response that it was due to the dirt road. Check-in was at 4 pm. There is absolutely no way the house got that dusty and dirty in the time it was supposed to be cleaned before we got there. The flower beds outside were not maintained. Was not expecting spring flowers, but the flowers beds had half-dead plants and tall weeds. The kitchen sink was stained and looked awful. The table was greasy from the last time someone had eaten. The animal skins on the table and the trunk were shedding and it was disgusting to have them on the dining table. The floor had not been swept and neither had the outside porch area. I had swept them by myself. We also found that the pictures from Booking.com and Google Maps did not accurately represent the current state of the property. Despite the high cost of renting the place, we felt that it was not worth it.

    Exceptional

The host was very accommodating with breakfast, snacks, coffee and fully stocked utensils and cookware. Having fresh soap and clean towels for kitchen and bathrooms! Superb accommodations!

There wasn’t one negative thing about this cabin! We will definitely be back!

Worth the price to stay here!

It was very clean, spacious, a country setting and had a beautiful view of the mountains and sunset.

    Not 1 thing.

Very enjoyable for the most part

The place was very spacious and beds amazing!

The entrance sign was very confusing as the entrance sign wasn’t where you were supposed to turn in
