    Good location

Very tired and in need of some tlc. Food was poor - only burgers available for evening meal and breakfast clearly used the cheapest possible ingredients.

Did what I needed it to barring the shower

Served food, room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Food was nice.

Shower was freezing. And the tv was terrible.

Nice little country pub/hotel needs a good clean and a regular check on the cleaning staff

A lovely little pub that is lacking in general housekeeping and care. Good food, comfy bed and great outlook. It justy needs a bit of repair and the staff to be given a cleaning schedule

Staff didn't listen with request for small portions of first night. I did explain about portion issues. Breakfast... well cooked but asked if it was actually Cumberland sausage and was told it was.... it was a sausage but full of fat and gristle and the plate was swimming in grease. I was asked if I wanted toast as an afterthought and she forgot the beans. Cleanliness Light switches through out the hotel are covered in dirty greasy finger marks as are the handrails on the stairs and around door handles. The skirtings and edges in the room carpet were dirty. The furniture in the room was very dusty and there was water left in the kettle which smelled as though it had been there a while. It took 3 boils to get rid of the stale stagnant water smell. Repair Both bathroom and bedroom window require serios repair, the sashes on the bedroom window are frayed and worn. These too were dirty and dusty
