    We loved the qurikyness of the barn facilities and the feeling of being a home from home.

    The Quirky Barn lived up to its name and the description given of the facilities available. This a a beautiful area to visit. My wife and I were visiting her family in nearby Wrexham and this gave us a perfect base to visit them and surrounding areas. We would definetly book these facilities again when coming to revisit family. The bed was particulalry comfortable. Not always our experience when visiting other places.

    The cooker is showing its age, but this didn't really affect us as we ate out both nights. As described in the welcome book, there are a number of good local eating places. If we had been visiting for a week or more in the summer a larger fridge / freezer would be useful. But again this was not an issue during the weekend we stayed.

    Excellent mini break in a beautiful place!

    The little barn was perfect for 2 adults and a child the kitchen had all the things you need, the living area is a good size and had lots of space to play games. The location and grounds were great for exploring and John the host was really friendly and accommodating.

    Be mindful that the WiFi is as listed and the stairs to the loft room are a little steep, neither of these are a problem and didn’t affect our stay.
