    Oasis in the city

    Great location and very quiet considering where it is. Not being on a main road by the lake has definitely got advantages. Very comfortable beds, pool is a lovely oasis in the city and a few of our group had spa services which they enjoyed. Breakfast was very nice. We chose to eat out for dinner 2 nights just to experience the city. The Temple and lake are very close as are many gem shops and it’s easy to access a couple of tea factories. Reception kindly organised our departure van to Colombo. The staff were very helpful . We would recommend this hotel if you want to be in Kandy :)

    It would have been nice to have a cold beer there in the hotel but it is inside the Temple zone and so we totally respected that and found plenty of options nearby :) It’s also a gentle reminder that we probably don’t need to drink !!There are excellent at other options to drink.
