Benn a long time, but happy to be back
Free breakfast always helps justify room costs per night. Breakfast was well prepared and maintained during our morning visits.
Elevators were a little slow when going to and from room. I would suggest stairs if you are only on the 2nd floor. The access to the main open area and down to the first floor is nice.

Expensive Price for a cheap and dirty room.
The king bed was very comfortable
We paid over $200 ($212, I believe) for ONE night, and to say I’m disappointed would be an understatement. For that price, I would expect, at the absolute bare minimum, a clean room. Instead, we walked into a room with a half-used bottle of lotion left behind, hair in the sinks, empty shampoo dispensers, beer bottle caps on the floor, and other obvious signs that the room had not been properly cleaned. To make matters worse, I accidentally dropped something and had to retrieve it from underneath the dresser. That’s when I discovered even more dirt and trash that had clearly been overlooked. There was also no microwave or refrigerator in the room. While I understand that a very select few of hotels don’t offer these amenities, I personally consider them pretty basic, especially when you’re charging over $200 for a single night. It feels like every possible corner has been cut while the price certainly doesn’t reflect that. When we arrived, the lobby was closed, so we had to stand outside in the cold to check in. We were traveling by motorcycle, which made that especially unpleasant. I will say that the gentleman who checked us in was very nice, and the check-in process itself was simple. I have no complaints about him whatsoever. My issue is with the overall condition of the property and the lack of value for what we paid. If you’re going to charge premium prices, you should at least provide basic cleanliness and a reasonable level of comfort. A clean room should NEVER be considered a luxury, regardless of the price. I don’t mind paying more for a nice place to stay, but I absolutely mind paying over $200 for a room that wasn’t even properly cleaned. It genuinely feels like this establishment is cutting corners everywhere possible while charging rates that its accommodations simply do not justify. Extremely disappointing, and absolutely not worth what we paid. We stayed at the Pisgah Inn overlooking GORGEOUS mountains, like almost at the peak. And we paid...
