Great location and will be an excellent property once renovation is complete.
The Retreat itself was a good size with lounge, bedroom, large bathroom with bath and shower (great water pressure). A sun room accessible from the bedroom leading to an outside seating area. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cupcakes and a bottle of Prosecco were a lovely touch.
In the minus column, the sofa was damaged and initially unusable ( it was repaired within a few hours). One of the outside sofas was so badly damaged it was unusable and less than half of the advertised outside space was available as the larger portion was under renovation, we were not informed of this prior to arrival.

Really lovely rooms
Beautiful rooms and excellent location. Super helpful hosts who were really kind.
The only slightly negative thing about the rooms was the limited wardrobe space, which was a bit of an issue as we were there for a costumed event. But there was plenty of space in the rest of the rooms for us to spread out into.

Plenty of room for two people, incredibly convenient for exploring the older parts of Lincoln, clean and well furnished with all items in outstanding condition.
Parking was a little tight (albeit ok for us but someone with a larger car might struggle). It was unfortunate that a portion of the outside decking was impacted by ongoing construction (although the property had made us aware of that before arrival).

Excellent property in a great location.
Excellent location, walkable to all major attractions in Lincoln. Extremely clean and well appointed. Lovely touches with the Prosecco, milk and cupcakes.
The only small issue was the reduced size of the outside space(although we had been advised of work being done beforehand).
