The place is excellent. It feels bigger on the inside, with lots of room, everything is warm and comfortable. The hosts are kind, and the location is quiet and easy to find.

We didn’t find anyone at the property and had to find alternative accommodation, which BTW was excellent. I am displeased with Booking.com because not only was the above property unavailable but also the house in Taumarunui. In regard to the latter, we met the owner in the town and she advised us that she had told Booking.com she wished to withdraw her property for letting. Booking.com failed to advise us about the unavailability of either property.
