Less price scam on the time of booking and rejected at the time of check-in

    The location

I booked through booking com and I got at a price of 500+ per night for 12 nights. On the check-in date I was refused by the hotel staff that they cannot provide me a room at this rate, it was harassment and wastage of my valuable time, they asked me to contact booking com customer care and I connected and they tried to reach out to the hotel Manager and got the same rejection. So Booking com gave me some additional amount discount from their end if I book from the same check in check out date. But it was a Monday and I went on a workation, it was the worst experience one can have and I had to return to my home and take a leave from work. I hope nobody faces this level of harassment and the hotel still showed 500 per night price for other dates when I checked and mind you this amount was not specifically for this platform. I saw the same price on 5-7 other platforms and I have the screenshot as well. Beware of such situations.
