Location, conveniently located near the University of Houston and grocery stores.
Stair well was a minor challenge, would be severe challenge for people with mobility issues. Bugs, it is in Houston. Not a major concern. I’m not posting pictures of tiny bugs, hardly worth mentioning, but again, it’s Houston. There was bug spray provided if it was bad. I suspect the owners spray regularly to keep the bugs out. Not an infestation, just unwanted visitors that sneak indoors to get away from the heat.

A nice apartment, clean and staff is good.
To get to the apartment you need to go through pebbles, and the staircase is so step, high, and narrow we could not bring suitcases in. The management company requests pre-approval and deposit... that even you process they request screenshots, but the bank does not allow those for security reasons, so if you are alone and no one can take a picture of your cell and send it to you so you can send it to them, you are lost..., so it's really bothering.

Very comfortable
The house is big and very comfortable, the amenities are very good and helpful. Also, the communication with the host was very easy. The location is very close to the downtown, and you can get a Uber for 6 to 8 dollars or bus.
The only thing I did not like was the security deposit that We had to pay. Although it was full refundable, it was something as an overseas visitor that I wasn't expecting. I have to pay $20 dollars extra because I need someone to pick up the deposit as I didnt use any of the money transfer apps that don't work for me because I don't live in the US.
