A much needed relaxing break. If you are looking to unwind, we'd highly recommend.

We loved the peace and tranquility, the views and sunsets, local walks and to be close to villages for shops and pubs. It was so easy to get to the coast too. The small touches like local fresh milk, coffee, honey and granola were unexpected and a nice touch.

Couldn't fault the Roost. Lovely, friendly owners, who gave us space but were always on hand to answer any questions.

A small, but perfectly formed, oasis, in a glorious location, with just about everything you need.

The dishwasher did not stay closed and therefore we were unable to use it, but for a relatively short stay for only two people, this wasn't a huge deal, and we were just able to hand wash the dishes.

Fantastic place for a peaceful break in nature.

    all great

This wasn’t the host’s fault, but a light from across the driveway kept turning on and off, shining a strong beam into the area. It was supposed to be a dark spot where we had hoped to enjoy the night sky, but this light affected this experience a bit.
