Was mid to poor service but location was great. Ongoing work at pool also not ideal but they did offer guests ice creams
Location and view from room were awesome.
Door to room stuck and needs attention, staff were unfriendly. Bell men watched me unload suitcases from my vehicle and did not offer to help or even greet us. Check in staff did not do a proper check in. We were told that by a second staff member who did eventually answer our questions.

Horrible Bottom Budget Hotel not Luxury
Breakfast food was about the only highlight
well for almost $700 a night by the time they add on taxes and "resort fee" for absolutely nothing we paid $5200 for 1 week it was definitely not worth it plus charge another $65 for valet parking plus tax to park your car 20 feet from the front doors. only 1 restaurant unless you want to eat at the $350 meal and it was absolutely horrible! mediocre bar food at best for a luxury hotel. room was clean but definitely nothing special. Paid $275 for a cabana at the pool and the area around it was completely under construction with scaffolding and horrible jackhammering all day long. cabanas look NOTHING like the reservation. they have blah colored cushions and they put beach towels over them, cabana canopy was dirty and, mildewed and our lounge chairs were so faded out they looked pale red and had huge tears in them that they covered with beach towels again and were soaking wet. unreal. they also charge $100 for beach loungers that they allow non buyers to put their towels and bare butts 2 feet in front of you. just no guidelines just complete hand out for money and over the top tips expected and not even worth the value of an economy hotel. we paid $550 for 2 luau dinner tickets , again horrible tiny portions not buffet people weren't even eating their plates and the show was a knock off 1950's elvis type world war 2 theme. not hula or fire dancers. the whole experience was just horrible. Dont waste your time with this "luxury" advertised hotel because its definitely not luxury. they claim the $52 a day resort fees are for activities, they offer child bead bracelet classes 1 time a day or yoga and they think that justifies. At breakfast we witnessed a server kicking a pigeon almost into oblivion because it miscalculated and flew into the inner area it was trying to get out and he just kept football punting it back in so he could abuse it. It was one of the worst things ever ever witnessed. Made ,me sick!

A truly grand hotel.
We had a beautiful room on the sixth floor looking out at the ocean. We can hardly wait to go back!
