Really nice, and lovely setting and village is very quaint

Breakfast fresh quality ingredients. Freshly cooked

Bit short staffed at breakfast. Lovely setting and facilities, shame they closed bar last orders at 10.30.

Beautiful old pub, with super comfortable beds and love food

Beautiful old building. Our room was in a small private courtyard with a small garden. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was beautiful. I very much liked that it didn’t offer a huge buffet of food but a small selection of freshly cooked items. And the village around it is also really pretty. The restaurant offered a lovely menu and we had two meals whilst there, including Sunday roast which was scrumptious

When you stay look forward to breakfast

A little out of the way for our ultimate destination but well rewarded with a comfortable room and friendly and efficient staff, there is a good and vey popular , and quality resturant and we regretted we had not arrived a few hours earlier to enjoy it , but ours plans didn’t allow it, looking at the food diners had it made us envious , the breakfast the next morning made up for this , lovely choice, well prepared and cooked, and included in the room rate 😊 we visited the village store across the street which is a wonderful example of the best of village shops , worth visiting too.

Parking is on the street or in front of the village shop or there is a village car park close by, we arrived after dark and it was busy ( it’s has a good and popular resturant) and for some reason there was no lighting ( an electrical fault orrgais) and the entrance doors not obvious , a small inconvenience
