    Great location, tiny rooms, stained bedding.

    The hotel's location was undoubtedly its biggest advantage. Situated right in the heart of Kyoto, it was extremely convenient for exploring the city, with easy access to restaurants, shopping areas, public transport and popular attractions. The central location made getting around Kyoto very easy and enjoyable.

    The room was considerably smaller than we had expected, making it feel quite cramped, especially with luggage. More disappointingly, the bedding had visible stains when we first entered the room, and we had to request that it be replaced. This was not the standard of cleanliness we expected and certainly wasn't a great first impression. The laundry room was also extremely small and congested, making it inconvenient to use, particularly when other guests were waiting.
