Great spot for a low price but don’t expect luxury.
Good size room, nice staff, great position. The Mexican restaurant was great!
The interior was tired, felt a bit grubby. Needs a lick of paint, and the pool furniture was rusty & in need of replacing.

Year 2014 was my best experience at the Saguaro. Unfortunately 2026 was not the same case.
The hotel is outdated and needs maintenance. The price of the poolside rooms and the suites are overrated and overpriced. The website photos are deceiving. Rooms are clean, but nothing spectacular. I felt I was at a motel, not a hotel or resort for the price I paid. Pool beds and chairs are dirty and old. The pool beds are overrated and overpriced as well. Two days later after checkout and I haven't received my refundable deposit.
My room was clean, bed comfortable.

The location was amazing. The colours and atmosphere were stunning.
Our bath spout was broken and heavily leaking so we had no shower water pressure.

Not worth the money.
Location was convenient
It’s pretty run down, our room smelled weird, the AC compressor right outside the sliding glass door was incredibly loud. We also requested a second floor room when booking and again before our stay. Of course, when we arrived, no second floor rooms were available. And in the middle of the night, the people immediately above us arrived in their room very loudly (knowing this would happen is the reason we asked to be on the second floor). The staff at the front desk were also apathetic about our request for the second floor. Found two bugs in the bathroom.
