    The location is heavenly.

    This place is all about the location. There is a magical quality to its situation. To wake up in the morning to the views of the lush green mountain tops with whispering clouds was out of this world. The elephant sanctuary adds extra excitement and anticipation. We got very lucky. Breakfast didn’t have a huge range of choices but was generous. Staff try really hard to please with limited English. Finally the transfer of luggage from the banks of river to the top of the hill was also appreciated.

    The rooms are tired and the toilets being so close to the sleeping space felt grimy. Our original room smelt of the toilet. We also had a problem with the door. However, the management moved us to a better room without hesitation.
