    Goed hotel maar Jersey viel wel wat tegen

    Het ontbijt buffet redelijk uitgebreid was saai en niet luxe: elke dag hetzelfde. Maar de meeste gasten gaan voor Full English (vind ik smerig) en dat was er in ruime mate. Kamer was goed, met bad/douche. Op onze kamer #57 was vaak, ook 's nachts een tikkend geluid te horen (irritant voor een lichter slaper als ik) maar bij uitchecken kreeg ik de parkeerkosten geschrapt als compensatie (netjes!). Het aangelegen '1840' restaurant beviel ons uitstekend; vriendelijke bediening ook.

    Het kamermeisje had vaak in 2e helft van de middag de kamer nog niet gedaan, als wij terugkwamen voor lezen c.q. middag power snooze (70+'ers). Het hotel lag qua (ons) loop bereik erg geïsoleerd (wij hebben beperkingen op onze mobiliteit) en dus overal naar toe met de huurauto maar parkeren in St. Helier is beperkt (moet met een app).
