    Enjoyed the Scotsman. Highly recommend it if staying in the area.

    Well kept place, great location.

    The stairs to the top rooms were as advertised.

    I would not recommend this place.

    Sandy the Host was rude and arrogant to us ,as my wife was not feeling well he made us wait till after 4:00pm till we could check in then i asked his wife for an extra towel and she looked at me like Nobody has ever asked such a thing before .After I told them I write reviews I got my towel .We never felt comfortable there .I had to take my wife to emergency in the next town at 3:00am so when i came back to get our things they pretended to be concerned but to me it was all fake . He will deny this in his rebuttal i'm sure !!! We loved Nova Scotia but not The Scotsman .

    Wonderful, highly recommend staying here

    Very lovely stay. Lots of character, and great furniture and decoration. Beautiful breakfast room. Sandy the Scottish owner served breakfast in his kilt, awesome. Good info about where to go for dinner.

    The bed was too firm for us.
