Very fresh and modern but Yia-Yia’s warm hospitality stood out the most

You will be glad you chose this place!
This beachy/Greek themed Inn was a little slice of heaven! The family that owns the Inn goes out of their way to make guests feel like part of their family. We saw them planting beautiful flowers, cooking, and caring for their guests. I think Nia Vardalos would love this place, too! 😉 I hope we can come back someday!

Great location, convenient to downtown Newport
The family who owns and operates this Inn, they are INCREDIBLE. What wonderful people. Beyond that, the Inn is located close to downtown Newport. The one thing I loved was Alva's Attic across the street. Also, the view is pretty from the front facing rooms. The Inn was clean.
We had come as three guests, I had planned I would share a bed with my business partner, ended up the 3rd guest didn't join us, so we both decided to sleep on the couches. They were comfortable, but NO bedding was supplied, no blanket, no sheets, no pillows. We had to strip the main bed and make up our own beds on the sofas. The lightbulbs were on penitentiary / jail level, HORRIBLE blue light. The one lamp wasn't plugged in, we had to move it to an outlet. Couldn't locate the remote for the overhead fan, the switch that operated the overhead light didn't work. The toiletries for this price point were FAR below standard. The lattes in the restaurant, they seemed to be pre-made (from a bottle). No coffee maker or supplies were in the kitchenette.
