    Never again, thankfully

    I could see the sea

It doesn’t say it’s unmanned until after you’ve booked your ‘no cancellation’ booking. No mention that it was up 2 flights of steep stairs and very tiny. It was right next to the road where all vehicles embark and disembark from the ferries (luckily the fan, which was very good to have because it was very hot and airless in such a small room provided some white noise to drown out the noise of the lorry’s) The lighting in the room must have had the lowest lightbulb wattage known to man, which along with the dark furnishings were very depressing and made you feel more claustrophobic but worst of all was the dark grey bed linen and towels, which were horrible. Overall, it gave me the impression they were desperate to hide the dirt. To top it all, the toilet seat was loose.

    Really lovely and welcoming place.

Really clean, well organised, lovely extras in the guest lounge, lovely housekeeper and all round really nice stay.

Our room was small, not quite a full size double bed which was fine but I hadn’t expected it.

I liked the comfortable bed, and the tea facilities. The shower was decent. Overall, it was comfy and quiet.

I thought it was a bit pricey for one night.
