    Embrace to quirkiness of a fabulous old pub.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pub is stuffed full of character - wonky floors and doors. I initially thought the place could be updated, but this would ruin the quirkiness. Jamie L, the Landlord is very welcoming and engaging and could do enough for us. Both evening meal and breakfast were delicious - good produce, well crafted and presented. We lived the friendly atmosphere in the bar. We loved this place and will return for a longer stay. Thank you.

    Our visit to Fowey

    The cosyness of the pub ! The staff were very accomodating and looked after us very well. Our room was very clean and tidy. The surrounding area is very picturesque

    If you're a tall person like me, you have to keep remembering to duck through the doorways as it's quite easy to forget and bang your head,which I did a few times 😂 But then it is and old pub and people weren't as tall a few hundred years ago.

    Perfect location for exploring Fowey, staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good. Fish pie was delicious. En suite was very modern and clean

    Bed was not that comfortable and rather creaky . Noisy in the morning due to being right in the centre of Fowey.
