    Clean , quiet and safe .

    Kimmie is fantastic - really friendly and welcoming. Gwens bacon buttie also needs a mention 😁

    Brighter light in room . Maybe a seat to work at - but that’s just because I had work to do ..

    The location for us was great; the staff were friendly and our room was nice and quiet. The bed was comfortable, and breakfast was great—nothing negative to say.

    Excellent value for money, lovely staff and owner.

    Staff and owner were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and helpful, as were other local people I met in the pub and village. Breakfasts were fine. The room and shower room were quite small, but excellent value for the price.

    Room was cold as the heating thermostat was set too low to come on. To be fair, I was offered an electric radiator, which I refused. On the Sunday afternoon the car park was full when I came back from my day out and parking in the village is limited. I finally got a parking space some time after 6pm. That was the only time it happpened during my four night stay.

    Fantastic little pub with value accommodation

    Hidden gem. Close enough to the lakes without the crowds. Very pleasant staff and very good value.Excellent food and local beer.
