Despite the above grumbles, we did enjoy our week at the property were very comfortable there.
Great location, cosy for a couple.
The decoration, particularly in the toilet, needs some serious attention, filling, sanding and properly repainting. Basin tap is crusted with limescale and difficult to operate. The extractor fan in the kitchen does not work and therefore any attempt at cooking means that the door needs to be kept open. The plinth under the shower tray is warped and needs replacing.

Nice and cosy would stay again
Nice cosy property
Bed was a bit soft but know that’s a preference, could have done with some more hot drink bits and pieces. WiFi was a bit rubbish and slow

All the basic amenities you would expect where available
There was a very musty/stale smoke aroma in the property. The property isn't very sound proofed from its adjoining properties. The sound isn't very well insulated from the road (suspect single glazing). The sofa/additional bed was rock hard from a sofa perspective. It was also very narrow and I wlukdnt have liked to fold it out and share with another person. The bed required renewal or new support for the mattress. It very much dips in the middle. I would imagine sharing this bed would be like sharing a partially deflated inflatable bed where the two sleepers would undoubtedly meet at the centre point. The shower cubicle I believe is at a minimum standard which means if you wish to bend to wash your lower limbs prepare to feel cold tile on your derriere and probably not reach your feet. There's no dedicated outside parking. The notification of lockbox code did not arrive via email despite the email address being sent via the messaging service via booking.com. The letter did not answer any calls when the pin was not provided and was not on hand for help for this matter between the planned check in hours. They were early for check out to clean though. The property is generally OK but expect much less than premier inn/travel lodge basic with a kitchenette. The property advertisement reads like Netflix,/prime etc is included but on actuality includes a low resolution budget smart TV with the option to log in and subscribe to these services. There is an expectation for you to wash all your dishes and take out out your refuse despite the £40 cleaning charge. There is a bow between the shower basin and floor trim that shows what looks like a lot if mould. I was in the property mid June at approx 23 degrees which felt much warmer and there is no A or fan available. There is very little space to access the far side of the bed from the foot of the bed, appx 6 inches.
