A wonderful, peaceful stay in a unique and beautifully restored Signal Box — the perfect base for exploring the Lake Dis
We had such a wonderful stay at the Signal Box at Cliburn Station in the Lake District. What a unique and charming place to stay! The Signal Box has been beautifully converted, combining its railway character and history with everything you could want for a comfortable and relaxing break. It was cosy, clean and full of thoughtful little touches that made us feel right at home. The location is fantastic too — peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside, while being perfectly placed for exploring the Lake District and the surrounding areas. It was lovely to come back after a day out and simply relax and enjoy the tranquillity. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily recommend the Signal Box to anyone looking for somewhere a little different, peaceful and memorable. We’d definitely love to return!

The accommodation is lovely its an upside setup, so you get lovely views, then a cool n cozy bedroom, comfy furniture, kitchen well equipped, outside garden furniture to use as well. It was clean n tidy, host very quick to reply to any questions. Good walks in woods Dog friendly

Gavin communicated clearly before the stay and then ensured everything was okay the day of arrival. The property is stunning and unique, in the best way. It was very clean and comfortable, with shops not too far away and the surrounding areas stunning!
