Ich empfehle es gern weiter!
Lage war hervorragend. Schoene Aussicht durchs grosse Fenster auf Wald und Meer. Still, obwohl es relativ nahe an der Strasse liegt. Das Meeresrauschen war sehr beruhigend. Feuerholz war im Preise einbegriffen und der HolzOfen war gemuetlich. Betten bequem. Alles sehr sauber. Grosser Kuehlschrank kam uns gelegen. Auch Ton's schriftliche Empfehlungen wo man in der Gegend einkaufen kann waren sehr hilfreich. Dank ihm entdeckten wir ein wunderbares "General Store" (The Other cupboard) wo man gesunde einheimische Produkte kaufen kann.
Wir kochten alle usere Mahlzeiten selbst und fanden die vorhandenen Toepfe Schuesseln etc haetten besser sein koennen, z.B. nur ein sehr kleiner und ein sehr grosser Topf von dem die Teflonbeschichtung abgekratzt war. Mehr Essbesteck und schaerfere Messer zum Kochen waeren gut. Feuerzeug war leer, Streichoelzer, die auch brannten, mussten wir selbst besorgen. Das Haus ist aber insgesamt gut ausgestattet, ein paar Regale, Ablagen oder Haken fuer Kleider waeren fuer laengere Aufenthalte eine Verbesserung.

This was a nice base for accessing hiking trails.
Breakfast was unavailable during our stay, but that was OK. The view was very nice and the kitchen was well stocked.
I liked our stay very much. The cabin is rustic, but we expected that and it fit into the surroundings nicely.

The Sleeping Moose was cozy and very enjoyable!
This facility far exceeded our expectations. Ton was wonderful and loved our puppy. The path to the ocean was easy and breathtaking. Kitchen well stocked.
We wouldn’t change anything!

Fantastic host with stunning views of mountain and ocean and within about 30 minutes to many hikes.
Direct ocean access is a plus. TON is a fabulous host! I loved having standalone separate cabin. Breakfast, will not included, is completely delicious and worth it. Try the PANKOEK, Yum!
