    Great stay, would have no hesitation to recommend, everything you could ask for.

    Property was really clean, comfortable and modern, with everything we needed for our stay. Great location too. The owners greeted us upon arrival and were in hand if needed. Would definitely recommend.

    Review of The Smithy Aug '26

    Very friendly & responsive hostess. Excellent location for visiting gardens at Hodnet Hall & Wollerton Old Hall. The Smithy was a great size, extremely well equipped and with the bonus of an attractive garden & outside seating area. The local village pub, The Bear, was only a couple of minutes walk from The Smithy & the food was seriously good. We would definitely consider a return trip to The Smithy!

    Indcredible ! Would stay again

    I liked how comfy the beds were , free WiFi , toiletries and cleaning products , friendly hosts , spacious and homely .

    Comfortable and friend friendly
