Such a lovely long weekend in the pleasant village of Metheringham. I highly reccommend.
The location was perfect for our visit. We travelled from Bolton to visit family that lived just a 5 minute walk away. You have everything you need at the stables to be able to cook and even do your laundry with plenty of space and a lovely outdoor area. There is a Co-op a short walk away and plenty of places to eat out. Also it is only a short train ride away from Lincoln.
The only thing I couldn’t find in the property was a long mirror, but that’s not something really to not like, it could be an addition.

A beautiful property with everything you need
A beautiful property in a great location for exploring Lincoln and Lincolnshire. It has absolutely everything you could ever need for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space with doors opening to both bedrooms, the kitchen and living room are a bonus, as were the velux windows during such a hot week as we had.

The hosts were wonderful! They went above and beyond, providing risers on the sofa as my husband has a disability -- just to name one example. The check-in instructions were concise and the welcome hamper awaiting us was outstanding. The Stables is an absolute dream of a cottage and has everything you need, including thoughtful touches that go above and beyond the average. We loved it -- it was so relaxing and peaceful. Thank you!

Thr stables is a brilliant place. The layout is very well planned .it was dpotlessly clean .A welcome basket including coffee tea cakes and a nice bottle of Proseco was wsiting for us.The beds were comfortable . Melissa and Stephen were available should we need anything.
