Silkstone stop over
Very clean and comfortable cottage with lovely rural surroundings.Had a good walk through the woods to silkstone, great location with plenty to do in the area.
Nothing the property had everything we needed.

Lovely stay thank you very much :0)
Lovely to have milk / coffee / tea waiting on arrival to save having to find shop/s straight away. There is an Asda garage/shop a few minutes down the road but very expensive, you're best off going into the town center 10 minute drive away for provisions. Was good to know no need to bring towels and also some cleaning supplies and dishwasher tablets were there which was great. Lovely and clean with two bathrooms and good WiFi both always a bonus when you have two teenagers !! Welcome / Info pack was good to have / read.
Couple of loose electrical wall sockets one in master bedroom and the other in the children's/single bed room. Very difficult to pull out of the location due to fast road even though the council appear to have put a "slow" sign right on the actual turning ( really needs to be re positioned as drivers just ignore it ) Was very nearly t-boned twice due to speedy drivers :0( Wet room is a nice touch but you have to remember to move the loo roll and your towel as the toilet area does get splashed/wet!

Beautiful property in rural location
The property was clean. Large kitchen with amenities. Quiet location.
Shower floor got soaked so always going in and out of water in the bathroom.

Quaint and lively
The place is lovely for the price we paid - lovely and clean, comfortable beds and chairs, lots of things in the cupboards to use, nice little patio garden with furniture.
Mentions a hot tub in the information leaflet in the house - that would have been nice after our long day of walking 😂
