    Don't book this place if you are expecting to have enough beds to accommodate 6 couples

    The pictures on Booking.com are somewhat deceiving. It appears that you have a nice front porch to relax on, but it's a shared porch. The backyard appears to be nice, but it does not match the pictures either.... not deal breakers. (THIS IS THE DEAL BREAKER) The description in TWO places indicated that there are more beds than there actually was, so we had 3 couples and had to bunk up together which was NOT in the plan and was WHY we booked this place in the first place. When this was communicated with the owners, there was no apology, no attempt to rectify the situation and no responsibility for this false advertisement and blame was placed directly back to Booking.com. To me, it felt like a "sorry about your luck" situation.

    Peaceful and convenient base for NASA and Galveston

    We stayed in this house for 2 nights to avoid driving in the Houston area during rush hours and to be close to NASA space center. It was a very quiet residential neighborhood, very close to the Seawall and the Strand. The house has just 1 shower in one of the baths, but that wasn't a problem after all. With no convenience stores nearby, we had to plan accordingly to have something to eat and drink in the mornings before we left for our excursions. Overall, it was a very good experience!

    There wasn't anything we didn't like.
