    Don't book in the summer!

    The view was lovely.

    The heat in the cabin was unbearable as there was a heatwave. I understand the heatwave was not the owners fault but there were no opening windows in the bedroom and heat rises! The bedroom was 35 degrees at 11.30pm! The large front windows downstairs barely opened because they were stiff and had to be forced, so no way of getting fresh air in. We were only provided with one towel for two adults and one hand towel and half a toilet roll. We never met the owner, only called her when we got there so couldn't go through things with her face to face! We asked for an additional towel and toilet roll but only got given another very small towel and this seemed begrudgingly after we text her, received no reply back and then a towel left outside. Property is very dated and the furniture is very uncomfortable. No way you can sit and relax. This place is a total missed opportunity and currently not worth the money. We packed our bags at 11.30pm and drove home!

    Nice comfortable stay in a quiet location with lovely views.

    Location and views were great, quirky and comfortable.

    Would have been nice to have a bit of milk left with the tea and coffee making facilities. Would also be good to have a dishcloth to wash the pots properly. If WiFi and television are offered they should be working properly, we only realised when it was too late to contact the owner.
