    Luxury Brand, disappointing service and conflicting explanations

    The complimentary upgrade was a lovely surprise and made the experience feel extra special. It was a thoughtful gesture that was appreciated.

    The stay was arranged for my mother and sisters, having highly recommended the hotel on the strength of my own previous positive experience. The hotel failed to fulfil a special request it had acknowledged: the planned surprise welcome was not provided. This was a disappointing start to a stay with a luxury brand. The breakfast was disappointing in terms of both service and food quality. The service did not reflect the attentiveness expected of a luxury hotel, and the food did not meet the standard anticipated Following a disappointing breakfast, we understood at checkout that our stay would be made complimentary. We expected the hotel to honour that commitment. After five working days, we chased the refund with Dinesh Rokade. Management told the person who booked that no offer had been made, yet separately told the guest that third-party refunds could be complicated. These conflicting explanations are unacceptable and contradictory accounts for a luxury brand such as Taj. We have formally complained to hotel management and the India Hotel Company CEO.

    I like the warmth and politeness of all the staff Miss Mehwish is an excellent ambassador of Taj Palace a classy and very polite person. There is food for all tastes and in abundance. I really appreciate the English blend.with Bharat . All in all for my first visit I am thrilled. I chose Taj upon the advice of my late mum who advise me whenever I visit India stay at the Taj. I have now understood why she insisted.

    To be honest I did not see any flaws.
